Bad with words but I'm happy SKY HOUR WORKS has grown so much in the time that we've created A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP, so many different groups coming together for each project is always something I enjoy seeing. I hope we can continue to make unique games in the future as well.

Hello, this is LOVEBREAK

I worked together with SKY HOUR WORKS for the SPACE / MECH / PILOT project when it first started developing. Chi Xu always wanted to make a game with me, and I accepted happily, since I never tried anything like that before. I designed the protagonist inspired by our love towards the game OneShot, hence the resemblance, and drew all the facesets and extra illustrations for the promotion and DLC. The genre chosen for the game was one Chi Xu was into at the time. With effort and patience the project came to be what it is today, and I'll never regret working on it. It was a needed experience that pushed me to where I am today, someone who, besides enjoying making illustrations, also designs characters and helps with their stories, too!

There's been nothing short of excitement while working on the various projects of SKY HOUR WORKS. From a silly little cat picking up trash, to a silly little cat flying a space ship, I've had the experiences of a lifetime. With not only a great company filled with passionate and hard-working individuals, the creativity and content within such a space has been a monument in my creative endeavors. As I've progressed as a music composer, I am simply not the sole reason for my progression. Every input from each individual within this company that I've received has made me a better composer, and for that, I'm forever thankful. Thank you to everyone who I've worked with, and to everyone who has jammed my tunes. SKY HOUR WORKS FOREVER!

barthandjude5thanniv Wow!! 5 years... It's hard to believe the time can fly that fast. I'm still super grateful to Chi and the rest of the SKY HOUR WORKS team for letting my little mind-babies feature in A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP! (Sorry. I didn't draw Gangle. Don't worry, he's taking it well.) I can happily say they were done justice and that I loved my time working with the team on the project. Thank you!! (P.S. this is the only time you will see Jude smiling or getting along with her brother. Never again.)

Wait what do you mean it's been five years. That can't be possible... and yet!! Adrien is Five Years Old. Happy birthday!

I wanna say I'm very grateful to have been part of SKY HOUR WORKS, especially since I got kind of roped in as a fan of A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP... like I was like look Chi I put the funny blorbos in karts isn't that cute? And then for some reason there was a little shooty red ship in front of me. How'd that happen... And speaking of, it's still a little wild to me that there are fans of S/M/P out there!! Like what do you mean!!! It's so cool for reals though. Thank you to the rest of the team and to our fans <3

It's hard to believe it's already been five years since the release of A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP back in 2019. While I have far less creative involvement in SKY HOUR WORKS projects than most, I nonetheless feel very honored to be part of the history of a group that goes out of the way to leave a positive impact on its workers and the industry in a time where that's sorely needed. My time spent working on SPACE / MECH / PILOT was a joy, and all signs point to the publisher having a bright future ahead that I truly look forward to.

Hi, I'm Audrey, I do programming and UI design..

It's hard to believe it's been five years!! Half a decade..! Time really flies.. I still vividly remember working on our game jam title PACK-CAT five years back, and how much fun I had. It feels a bit like I've grown up here.. It's been incredible to work with such talented people, who I'm elated to call my friends :)

I'm really happy to see how much everyone has enjoyed the things we've worked on. My involvement right now doesn't extend past PACK-CAT and RE: DECEIVED VOICE, but nonetheless I'm always thrilled and beyond happy for everyone here when I see the love that pours out for A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP, SPACE / MECH / PILOT, HAOxSORA, and the games we publish.

SKY HOUR WORKS has given me the opportunity of a lifetime to have fun with friends and work on things that really make my brain happy. I'm so happy to be here; I'm a shy type of person and it draws me out of my shell.. I hope what we make in the future continues to make people happy. I'm so thankful to Chi for giving me the opportunity to join them on this journey. I'm really excited for everyone to see RE: DECEIVED VOICE and whatever else the future brings.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and to the people I've been able to work alongside. I look forward to the future with bated breath..! It's been a fun ride so far- here's to the next five years! :)

Hi! I'm Arachnibot. I did half the music on A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP (the ones with too many jazz organs). Just sending support to the current teams, and thanks to everyone that's played our little project!

I've been a little out of the loop with SKY HOUR WORKS lately, but I'm always astounded whenever I get to see how far my friends are going! It fires me up to make sure my own games can get just as far!

I'm not a very articulate guy, but thank you to Jeff for leading my first commercial project, Ruky for saving my butt with the second half of the soundtrack, and to each and every one of the team members and fans of SKY HOUR WORKS once again!

~ Arachnibot (A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP Composer and Co-Developer)

Congratulations and happy anniversary to everyone at SKY HOUR WORKS!! In just 5 years, SKY HOUR WORKS has made a name for itself with games full of character and cool ideas. HAOxSORA =THE SKY'S ABOUND= RIDE TO OUR FINAL will be my first big project under Sky Hour Works that I've been apart of, and I'm super pumped for more people to get their eyes on it. Here's to many more!

It's surreal to hear that SKY HOUR WORKSS is having a 5 years anniversary, it feels like at least a year ago when I started helping some of the past games! While I'm still inexperienced and my contribution was small, I'm glad to collaborate with the SKY HOUR WORKS team.

I hope I can contribute more and maybe even make my idea into reality with SKY HOUR WORKS in the future!

~ Kei01g (SPACE / MECH / PILOT Programmer, HAOxSORA Add. Programmer)

5 years already!? Congrats to everyone involved with SKY HOUR WORKS!!! My participation has been quite tiny but it's been such a pleasure to work with so many talented people! Designing Hao and Sora was an incredible experience and it's amazing to see the game finally released! Hopefully I can get more involved in the next projects to come! Once again, happy anniversary to the studio!!!

SKY HOUR WORKS has given me lots of opportunities to meet cool people and collaborate on interesting games! My time with the team has been very fun and stress-free which is nice when it comes to indies :)

I hope you guys enjoy the characters and things I contribute to in the future!

I'm really grateful I had the opportunity to work with SKY HOUR WORKS on HAOxSORA, as it was my first long-term game project and the one I'm still the most proud of. Everyone who contributed gave it a new energy that made it more than the sum of its parts, and I hope we can revisit it someday soon.

The structure of the group really feels more like a doujin circle than a traditional indie project, and because of that I feel it affords the opportunity for devs and artists to collaborate freely, while still creating an interconnected game world and narrative that has meaning to everyone.

I look forward to getting the chance to work on more projects with the other members in the coming years!

SKY HOUR WORKS feels more and more timely with each passing year. it's far too often that we see news about the game industry finding new ways to implode. i think it's important to remember that, separate from all that, making games is and has always been awesome. SKY HOUR WORKS proves time and again that ideas and heart are the most important ingredients in that process, and wears its ideas and heart on its sleeve for all to see. we're excited to continue on this journey of simply "creating things because it's awesome" alongside them for many more years to come

It's strange that it's been 5 years of SKY HOUR WORKS...it doesn't feel that way! Maybe it's because I haven't been doing gamedev much the past 4 years, but it still feels like we've only just released our first game recently. I want to make more games of my own in the next few years if I can find the drive, and the ideas I have are very different from what I've helped out with as a supporting role. Hopefully people are interested in my more niche tastes, as I think many of my concepts may sound outlandish to people I would be asking for help to work on them. They're also out of my comfort zone artistically...oh well! I always like trying new things, which is why my art style and my role in projects is always in flux. Maybe I will get to show some things that live in my brain before too many years pass.

Hey all, Chi / Jeff here.

SKY HOUR WORKS, my silly lil indie dev circle, is celebrating its 5th Anniversary today (October 7th), but it actually was born all the way back in March 2019, which was when we started forming together as a group and figuring out what games we wanted to make. SKY HOUR WORKS owes its existence to the days of me spacing out during middle school classes, dreaming of game concept ideas, and a lot of the PROJECT NATURA releases up to now, as well as going forwards, have all been ideas I've had stuck in my head ever since. I originally made SKY HOUR WORKS as a way to express my ideas and creative vision out to the world, standalone from other things like D-CELL GAMES (the studio I run full-time), but it's quickly became so much more - expanding that vision to include so many talented friends, but also other projects from amazing teams.

And man, now it's been over half a decade. I was still in 12th grade when RE: DECEIVED VOICE and A NIGHTMARE'S TRIP started early production. And it feels like so long ago since all of that has happened - I was a very different person and was more closeted and closed off back then. I'd like to think the growth of this indie circle reflects my own personal growth as a person too - from not just harboring personal ambitions to also wanting to carry and uplift the dreams of others, too.

SKY HOUR WORKS is proof that at the heart of it all, making shit is cool and telling stories is an honor worth pursuing. If any of our releases has inspired you or resonated you in some way, first of all, thank you so much, but also - don't forget:

BELIEVE IN OUR FUTURE. CHASE THE WORLD!

~ Jeff / Chi Xu (SKY HOUR WORKS Director)
